How Beverage Service Works
Our team is responsible for the animal.
Your event is responsible for the alcohol.
The Barnyard provides the professionally handled animal and applicable beverage-carrying setup for the selected experience.
Alcohol and other beverages must be supplied and controlled by the event host, venue, bartender, caterer, or other appropriate party.
Our Barnyard handler remains with the animal throughout the experience and manages all animal interaction.
Venue rules and applicable alcohol-service requirements still apply.

Animal Welfare Comes First
Our animals aren't beverage carts.
They're animals first.
Every experience is evaluated based on weather, temperature, transportation time, event conditions, venue access, duration, animal temperament, and appropriate rest.
Our handlers remain with the animals throughout the experience, and we may modify or decline an event if conditions aren't appropriate for them.

What is a Beer Burro?
A Beer Burro is a professionally handled miniature donkey dressed with a specialty setup designed to carry beverages while interacting with guests.
Despite the name, the experience doesn't have to involve beer. The setup may be used with other appropriate beverages depending on your event.
What is a Pony Keg?
Our Pony Keg is a similar beverage experience featuring one of our miniature ponies.
It's especially popular for weddings, equestrian events, Western-themed celebrations, and cocktail hours.
Do you provide the alcohol?
No.
The event host, venue, bartender, caterer, or other appropriate party supplies and controls all alcoholic beverages.
The Barnyard is responsible for the animal and animal experience.
Does someone stay with the animal?
Absolutely.
A Barnyard handler remains with the animal throughout the experience.
Can guests take pictures?
Of course.
Photos and guest interaction are a huge part of the experience.
Can we book more than one beverage animal?
Depending on availability, yes.
We can also combine beverage animals with Highland cow experiences and other specialty Barnyard offerings.
Can we use a Beer Burro at something other than a wedding?
Absolutely.

Venue requirements vary.
